EVERYDAY NOTES

Many of us can recall that one student in elementary school who was the designated artist—the one whose drawings were so exceptional that it was difficult to comprehend how they did it. Jerry Montoya was that student.

Decades later, Jerry continues to create every day, drawing self-portraits alongside portraits of his wife and two children. His preferred medium is graphite pencil on 3"x3" Post-it notes.

Beginning March 20th, hundreds of these drawings, along with several of Jerry's sketchbooks, will be on display in our new gallery.
